Ones I quite like

  1. Hey Issy
    working from the bottom up:
The Hippies: I like how the guys fill the frame and that we can see the Peace symbol on the guys cheek...nice to see a bit of the reflection of the colours in their glasses...a slight move to the right would have got you a bit more of this (but I assume that may have been tricky) the dof is perfect we know they are in the city but the background does not distract...beautiful exposure with rich colour

Speights detail: as I said I loved this shot and changing the orientation completely changed the feel of the image...to me this is the perfect detail shot...the lines coming in diagonally from the bottom right give the image vitality and the lighting is nice

    Speights men & Homer
gosh Homer looks completely wasted!! its good he is there to mix up the planes as he is on the back one...otherwise the 2 Speights guys would have been horizontal on the same plane which can be a bit static...nice natural looking subjects and well filled frame

Mr Swat: good to have him very tight in the frame...it makes him feel bigger...again it looks natural not too posey...the monochromatic colour makes the bottle pop...I may have tried for a slightly shorter dof as the poles are a little distracting but that's being picky

    The lady from the Netherlands:
This is a stunner..filling the frame here was absolutely the thing to do...it really accentuates the red of her mask and her matching lips because we don't really have much of her hair so the red takes centre stage...a simple concept and composition that works brilliantly

The Ninja Turtle hands: great colour and diagonals...would have been good to get just a tad lower so you got a bit more of the hands

Mr 'Braveheart' - awesome shot...great exposure...he fills the frame and looks like he's only just contained...great expression and great colour (your images were really warm colour wise which looked great on such a grey day)

I love the top image...of the two workshops (the Friday night and Saturday) this is hands down the best detail shot...dead simple but dead classy...great to include the smidgen of black at the top as a foil for the kick as colour..yum yum

Issy you have some cracking images ...quietly worked your magic in what was a full on crazy fest! again don't expect all winners...impossible in these very challenging conditions your hit rate was what I would have expected from myself in the conditions...great job...look forward to our next encounter chick!!
